Watching this show was a truly enjoyable experience. As some fans may know, SKAM España doesn’t follow a traditional release schedule. Instead of full episodes, short video clips were released throughout the week, accompanied by Instagram posts from the characters. This unique format kept us constantly checking YouTube and Instagram for updates, making the viewing experience feel immersive and interactive. I even started learning Spanish because the English subtitles often arrived late!
The show is set in a high school, and the casting is spot-on—young actors and actresses who match the age of their characters and still be able to deliver natural, convincing performances.
Season 2 focuses on Cris and Joana, whose chemistry is genuine and heartfelt. Their relationship feels authentic, and the storyline thoughtfully explores themes like interfaith friendships, mental health, and the confusion surrounding one’s sexual identity. It’s a beautifully told story that resonated deeply with me—I’ve watched it for more than 4 times already.
